Well I'm still working away at chapter 2 of my novel and it's going pretty well. After I got over the fact that my parents obviously won't like everything I do or ahem "write" I was finally able to get over this so called writers block. I had been for weeks trying to figure out a different way to change my first chapter since my mom wasn't as excited as I was about what my book was about. So even though she wasn't into it and I "was"... all the time I spent trying to change it into something else ended up adding to my storyline!!!!

( Note: My moms opinion on things are very important to me..its always been that way. I guess we're just very close and I know if she likes it ----- its GOT to be good)

So I'm glad I spent the last month trying to drastically change my plot. I came up with several ideas to make it more interesting, but in the end kept my original plot. (Which is basically who the main guy is and all)
So I'm happy. Very happy. Especially since from day 1 I've always needed to write the book how I see it. It IS my novel after all! lol.

I can't go changing an entire plot because of one persons opinion no matter how important that person may be to me. She can't help it if what I'm writing about doesn't appeal to her and never has. I know that out there millions of people will....BUT She does like the romance in the story. Romance is always good! ~
